Miss Emma V Carrington

Emma is a consultant colorectal surgeon, currently enjoying an ESCP funded fellowship in Le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Poitiers, France. She has a clinical interest in pelvic floor disorders, benign proctology and minimally invasive colorectal surgery.

Much of her academic work to date has focused on improving physiological phenotyping of functional gastrointestinal disorders through development of novel investigations of lower gastrointestinal function, particularly (high-resolution) anorectal manometry.
