Anish Bahra serves as the Chairwoman of Whipps Cross Waltham Forest Medical Education and Research. Dr Bahra is a consultant neurologist at Barts Health, Whipps Cross Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. Dr Bahra trained at Bristol University and spent her medical training in Neurology between Wellington, New Zealand and London.

Dr Kaindon Kugathas qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2005. He has been a GP since 2010 and works in South Woodford. Dr Kugathas has represented the Redbridge Local Medical Committee (LMC) for many years. He is the Co-Chair of Redbridge LMC and also represents them on the BHR CCGs Area Prescribing sub-Committees.

Dr Kanyalal (Ken) Aswani Ken has been a GP partner in large innovative teaching practice for over 25 years in Leytonstone, Waltham Forest. Dr Aswani’s national roles have included being part of the Modernisation Agency and PEC chair lead for the NHS Alliance. He was the Long-Term Conditions clinical lead in North East London and supported the setting up of case management teams in North East London including integrated Health and Social Care teams.
Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist
Kendra Shaw is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist within the NHS, where she provides specialist neuropsychological assessment, formation, and interventions. Dr Shaw has worked in various NHS settings, including acute medical, mental health, memory services, community/outpatient, and neuro-rehabilitation services. She is on the Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology and is involved in the Division of Neuropsychology Policy Unit at the BPS.
Mr Sami Hoque
Sami Hoque is a Consultant Physician and lead Consultant Gastroenterologist with Barts Health NHS Trust at Whipps Cross University Hospital and Senior lecturer at Queen Mary School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London. Dr Hoque is the lead physician in Digestive Disease and Nutrition at Whipps Cross University Hospital and Principal Investigator for Basic Science and Clinical Research, currently running several novel therapeutic drug trials in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

James Green is a Consultant Urological Surgeon trained at the Royal London Hospital. Mr Green is a clinical lead in paediatric urology and is clinical lead in the North East London cancer network within clinical improvement. Mr Green specialises in adult and paediatric urology. Uro-oncology, prostate cancer and benign prostate disease. Urodynamics and transrectal ultrasounds. He has carried out post graduate training in London, Hong Kong, Essex, Wales, USA and Paris.
Consultant in Acute Medicine and Nephrology
Saurabh Chaudhri is a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Nephrology in Whipps Cross Hospital and has a special interest in Quality Improvement. Dr Chaudhri is part of the Royal College of Physicians QI Faculty, who teaches and facilitates QI collaboratives and has taught in the Chief Registrars Program. In addition, Dr Chaudhri is part of the HEE North London QI steering group working towards developing a structured QI approach for the trainees across London in both primary and secondary care.
