Anish Bahra

Anish Bahra is a consultant neurologist at Barts Health and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She undertook her research at the Institute of Neurology, University College London and has a specialist interest in Headache. She runs tertiary headache clinic across both sites where she has supported the development of multidisciplinary subspecialist services which include Migraine-Vertigo, paediatric transition (Headache), functional disorders and neurostimulation clinics.

Dr Bahra has an interest in the development of evidence based pathways working with post-graduate trainees, undergraduate and Neuroscience MSc students, the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH), and the Association of British Neurologists. She contributes to the development of the UK Neurology Speciality Certificate Examination and continues promote education particularly through BASH, patient support groups and the European Academy of Neurology.
