Anish Bahra serves as the Chairwoman of Whipps Cross Waltham Forest Medical Education and Research. Dr Bahra is a consultant neurologist at Barts Health, Whipps Cross Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. Dr Bahra trained at Bristol University and spent her medical training in Neurology between Wellington, New Zealand and London.

Dr Kaindon Kugathas qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2005. He has been a GP since 2010 and works in South Woodford. Dr Kugathas has represented the Redbridge Local Medical Committee (LMC) for many years. He is the Co-Chair of Redbridge LMC and also represents them on the BHR CCGs Area Prescribing sub-Committees.

Dr Sabir Zaman completed his undergraduate training at Imperial College London before undertaking his postgraduate training in East London across Whipps Cross Hospital, Homerton Hospital, and The Royal London Hospital. He has been a GP Principal in Tower Hamlets since 2012, and has helped lead the development of a well-respected Teaching and Training Practice in Hoxton. He is passionate about Medical Education, Leadership, and Global Health.

Dr Sami Hoque is a Consultant Physician and lead Consultant Gastroenterologist with Barts Health NHS Trust at Whipps Cross University Hospital and Senior lecturer at Queen Mary School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London. Dr Hoque is the lead physician in Digestive Disease and Nutrition at Whipps Cross University Hospital and Principal Investigator for Basic Science and Clinical Research, currently running several novel therapeutic drug trials in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

James Green is a Consultant Urological Surgeon trained at the Royal London Hospital. Mr Green is a clinical lead in paediatric urology and is clinical lead in the North East London cancer network within clinical improvement. Mr Green specialises in adult and paediatric urology. Uro-oncology, prostate cancer and benign prostate disease. Urodynamics and transrectal ultrasounds. He has carried out post graduate training in London, Hong Kong, Essex, Wales, USA and Paris.

Saurabh Chaudhri is a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Nephrology in Whipps Cross Hospital and has a special interest in Quality Improvement. Dr Chaudhri is part of the Royal College of Physicians QI Faculty, who teaches and facilitates QI collaboratives and has taught in the Chief Registrars Program. In addition, Dr Chaudhri is part of the HEE North London QI steering group working towards developing a structured QI approach for the trainees across London in both primary and secondary care.

Sujatha Thamban is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in obstetric medicine. In addition, Dr Thamban is the Director of Medical Education at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust.
