End of Year Extravaganza
WXMERT supports the recent End of Year Extravaganza – Celebrating Excellence and Innovation in Clinical and Quality Improvement projects by Junior Doctors at WX, by providing prizes to the worthy winners.
The QIP annual event has been successfully running since 2017.
This was set up to encourage and recognise the quality improvement work done by trainees at Whipps cross. Despite a busy work schedule, the junior doctors are well motivated to bring on change and have been an amazing driving force behind the quality improvement at Whipps cross.
The judges were: Prof James Green – QI Clinical Lead, Dr Saurabh Chaudhri- Acute Medicine and Nephrology Consultant, Debbie Brazil- Head of QI Attia Rehman – Chief Registrar and Dr Theophilus Abraham- Foundation year Doctor.
The winners were:
1st prize in QI £80-Dr Munad Ar-Rahman Mohammad, Dr Anya Chanda, Dr Jordan Coules and Dr Lina Boughetane
