Sujatha Thamban

Sujatha Thamban is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in obstetric medicine. In addition, Dr Thamban is the Director of Medical Education at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust.

Dr Thamban has set up a novel and successful Perinatal Mental Health service for Vulnerable women. As well as being a Principal Investigator and Chief Investigator who has been successfully involved in various NIHR portfolio studies.

As the Director of Medical Education, Dr Thamban wants to positively enhance the experience of junior doctors and make Whipps Cross University Hospital, an outstanding and preferred hospital for both training and working.
